Twice a year I fly to the Costa del Sol to enjoy the sun and  golf, especially in spring and autumn. When I arrived there this year I was caught by surprise by the disastrous conditions originated by the heavy rain under which all  golf clubs had to suffer.
I understand the stress that Golf Directors were being put under by these conditions,  but I do not understand when playing a course if I am not notified in advance if there are one or more fairway that cannot be played under regular conditions and I have to pay the full greenfee. This is grossly unfair. In this situation the player should be notified in advance and be offered a reasonable discount. This would be fair and produce a positive reaction from the client, making him keen to return in the future.
With my very best regards
